About Georganne Harmon

Hello and welcome to my page. I’ve been writing since I could hold a pencil, building with the tools of an alphabet and sounds, graphite, and the idea of story. I’ve been a student, a teacher, and a poet, have recently finished my first novel, and I have a couple of projects involving poems and stories on my desk. I invite you on the journey, and I hope you’ll share yours with me.

cropped-g-Zeit1.jpegMy poems have appeared in a number of literary journals, and I have published a collection, We Will Have Ghosts.

I began this webpage as a way to tell friends about our year in Baltimore, November 2014 to November 2015. Now, we are back in Nashville, and I am returning to this way of staying in touch with my wider community of writers, readers, and friends. I invite you to comment, kibitz, and join the conversation about words and how they work.

Here’s how to get in touch:
